Description

These Air Fryer Blueberry Cheesecake Wontons are a deliciously crispy and creamy dessert, combining the richness of cream cheese with the fresh sweetness of blueberries, all perfectly cooked in an air fryer for a quick and easy treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup blueberry jam or preserves
  • 1/3 cup fresh blueberries

Wontons

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray or melted butter, for brushing
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream cheese mixture: In a small bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Assemble the wontons: Place one wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture and 1/2 teaspoon of blueberry jam in the center, then add 1 to 2 fresh blueberries on top.
  3. Seal the wontons: Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water, fold it into a triangle, and press firmly to seal all edges to prevent leakage.
  4. Repeat filling: Continue assembling the remaining wontons using the same method for all 24 wrappers.
  5. Prepare for air frying: Lightly spray or brush each wonton with cooking spray or melted butter to help achieve a golden, crispy finish.
  6. Preheat and cook: Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the wontons in a single layer inside the basket, working in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry the wontons: Cook for 5 to 6 minutes until the wontons are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve: Allow them to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can swap blueberry jam for raspberry or strawberry jam for a different fruity flavor.
  • Add lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture for an extra layer of brightness.
  • These wontons are best served warm but can be reheated in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
