Dry Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¾ cup buttermilk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, divided)
For Brushing:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, garlic powder, and salt. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Wet Ingredients: Add buttermilk and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Form Biscuits: Scoop about ¼ cup of dough for each biscuit, shape into rounds, and place in the air fryer basket.
- Air Fry: Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Garlic Butter: While biscuits cook, melt remaining butter and mix with garlic powder and parsley. Brush over hot biscuits.
- Serve: Sprinkle with parsley and enjoy warm.
Notes
- Best served fresh but can be reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes.
- For a spicy kick, add cayenne or paprika to the dough.
