Description

These Almost Chick Fil-A Chicken Nuggets are a delicious copycat of the famous fast food favorite. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor, these nuggets are sure to be a hit with both kids and adults alike.

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 cup dill pickle juice

For the Coating:

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken in pickle juice, refrigerate, then pat dry.
  2. Prepare Coating: Whisk egg and milk. Mix flour, sugar, salt, spices, and baking powder.
  3. Coat Chicken: Dip in egg mixture, then dredge in flour.
  4. Fry: Heat oil, fry nuggets until golden and cooked through.
  5. Serve: Drain and serve hot with dipping sauce.
