For the Cake:
- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream

- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Frosting:
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease/flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the cake: Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, bananas, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients separately, combine, and pour into pan. Bake for 35–40 minutes.
- Make the frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter, add powdered sugar and vanilla. Frost the cooled cake.

Notes
- For a stronger banana flavor, use very ripe bananas with lots of brown spots.
