- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1½ cups water or chicken broth
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
Optional:
- 1 tbsp butter (for topping)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the Sauce: Whisk together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and water/broth until smooth. Add rice, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Assemble: Pour mixture into baking dish. Arrange chicken breasts on top, sprinkle with onion soup mix, dot with butter.
- Bake: Cover dish with foil and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Rest and Serve: Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
