- 1 1/2 cups peeled and finely chopped apples (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Beat Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
- Combine and Bake: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, fold in the apples and pecans. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55–65 minutes.
- Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
