Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the apple filling: In a large mixing bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Transfer the apple mixture to a greased 8×8-inch or similar-sized baking dish.
- Make the oat topping: In another bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, nutmeg, and salt. Add the cold butter and mix until the topping resembles coarse crumbs. Spread the oat mixture over the apples.
