Main Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Meatball Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs and place on baking sheet.
  3. Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
  4. Make Glaze: In a saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and hoisin sauce. Thicken with cornstarch slurry.
  5. Glaze Meatballs: Toss cooked meatballs in the glaze until coated. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
