Main Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Glaze:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- Sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Meatball Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs and place on baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
- Make Glaze: In a saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and hoisin sauce. Thicken with cornstarch slurry.
- Glaze Meatballs: Toss cooked meatballs in the glaze until coated. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
