- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- chopped fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Spaghetti: Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare Sauce: Heat olive oil in a large skillet, cook Italian sausage, onion, and garlic. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine Ingredients: Mix cooked spaghetti with half the sauce, Parmesan, and ricotta. Layer spaghetti, sauce, and mozzarella in a baking dish. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with basil and serve warm.
