Instructions

  1. Egg Yolk Mixture: In a heatproof bowl over simmering water, whisk egg yolks and sugar until thick and creamy. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  2. Whipped Cream: Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Tiramisu Filling: Gently fold mascarpone into egg yolk mixture. Fold in whipped cream.
  4. Assembly: Dip ladyfingers in espresso mixture and layer in dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat layering. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
