Description

This creamy and flavorful Avocado Dressing is a versatile addition to any meal. Made with ripe avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, and cilantro, it’s perfect for salads, tacos, or grain bowls.

Ingredients

Scale

Avocado Dressing:

  • 1 large ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 24 tablespoons water, to thin if needed

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, honey, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until the dressing reaches your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
  6. Use within 3-4 days for best flavor.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute coconut yogurt for Greek yogurt and maple syrup for honey.
  • This dressing makes a great dip for veggies or a sauce for tacos and grain bowls.
