Delicious and easy-to-make Baked Apple Fritters that are perfect for breakfast or dessert. These fritters are filled with diced apples and warm spices, then topped with a sweet glaze.

Dry Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups peeled and diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Add to dry ingredients and stir to combine.
- Add Apples: Toss diced apples with lemon juice, then fold into batter. Spoon batter onto baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and cooked through. Let cool.
- Prepare Glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over fritters.
Notes
- For added crunch, mix in chopped walnuts or pecans.
- Best served fresh but can be stored for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
