Description

These Baked Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that’s perfect for appetizers, lunch, or a quick dinner. Flaky crescent roll dough is filled with a creamy mixture of shredded chicken, cheeses, and seasonings, then baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

For the filling:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the rolls:

  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well combined.
  3. Assemble the rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into individual triangles. Place about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end and tucking in the filling as you go.
  4. Bake: Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika if desired. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • These rolls make a great appetizer, lunch, or quick dinner.
  • Serve with ranch, honey mustard, or marinara for dipping.
  • You can also add cooked bacon, sautéed spinach, or chopped jalapeños for extra flavor.
