Description

This Baked Salmon recipe is a simple and flavorful way to prepare salmon fillets in the oven. With a zesty lemon and herb marinade, the salmon turns out tender and delicious every time.

Salmon Fillets:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

Marinade:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill or fresh chopped dill
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Lemon slices
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  2. Make the marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, dill, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Prepare the salmon: Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush fillets with the marinade and top with lemon slices if desired.
  4. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes until the salmon is cooked to your liking and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley and lemon slices, and serve hot.
