- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas and melted butter. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; stir until combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to wet mixture; stir until just combined. Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour batter into the loaf pan, smooth the top, and bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
