Bread:

- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Add chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smooth the top, and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if desired. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
