Description

This Batch Midnight Tart Cherry Mocktail is a refreshing and vibrant non-alcoholic drink combining tart cherry juice, fresh lime, honey, and vanilla, topped with sparkling water for a fizzy finish. Perfect for a quick, healthy, and flavorful beverage to enjoy any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup (8 oz) tart cherry juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 limes worth of zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp Celtic sea salt

To Serve

  • Sparkling water (preferably Gerolsteiner), 1/2 cup per serving
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Make the concentrate: Add the tart cherry juice, lime juice, honey, lime zest, vanilla extract, and Celtic sea salt into a jar or blender. Shake vigorously or blend for about 2 minutes until the mixture is slightly frothy.
  2. Store the concentrate: Transfer the mixture to a sealed container and refrigerate for up to 4 days until needed.
  3. Prepare the mocktail: When ready to serve, shake the concentrate well to recombine any settled ingredients.
  4. Serve: Fill a glass halfway with ice, pour 1/2 cup of the cherry limeade concentrate over the ice, and top it off with 1/2 cup of sparkling water, maintaining a 1:1 ratio of concentrate to sparkling water.

Notes

  • The concentrate can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to four days.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
  • Use your preferred brand of sparkling water for different flavor profiles—Gerolsteiner is recommended for its mineral content and crispness.
  • For a more intense lime flavor, consider adding extra zest or a splash of freshly squeezed lime juice before serving.
