  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

For the Stir Fry:

  • 3 packs (3 oz each) instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, toss sliced beef with cornstarch and set aside.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Boil ramen noodles for 2 minutes, drain, and set aside.
  3. Sear the Beef: Sear beef in oil until browned. Set aside.
  4. Stir Fry: Cook broccoli, garlic, and ginger. Add beef back in.
  5. Make the Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Combine: Add sauce and noodles to the skillet. Cook until heated through.
  7. Serve: Top with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • You can substitute snow peas or bell peppers for the broccoli.
  • For extra heat, add sriracha or more red pepper flakes.
