  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Cheese Layer:

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Additional:

  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Meat Sauce: In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings, and simmer.

  4. Layer: In the baking dish, layer noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce. Repeat layers.
  5. Bake: Top with cheddar cheese and bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly. Let rest before serving.
