- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
For the Cheese Layer:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Additional:
- 2 cups cooked egg noodles
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Meat Sauce: In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings, and simmer.
- Prepare Cheese Mixture: Mix sour cream, cream cheese, and green onions until smooth.
- Layer: In the baking dish, layer noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce. Repeat layers.
- Bake: Top with cheddar cheese and bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly. Let rest before serving.
