- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion (diced)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Noodles: Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Sauté Onion and Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook onion until softened. Add garlic and cook briefly. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Prepare Beef Mixture: Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer to blend flavors.
- Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine noodles, sour cream, and half of cheddar cheese. Add beef mixture and stir to combine.
- Bake: Transfer to a baking dish, top with remaining cheddar and mozzarella. Bake until bubbly.
