Blackberry Sorbet:
- 4 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
- Cook the Blackberries: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine blackberries, sugar, and water. Cook until berries break down and sugar dissolves.
- Blend and Strain: Transfer mixture to a blender, puree until smooth. Strain through sieve to remove seeds. Add lemon juice and salt.
- Chill and Freeze: Chill mixture for 1 hour. Churn in ice cream maker until sorbet consistency. Freeze for 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a softer sorbet, add corn syrup or vodka before churning.
- If no ice cream maker, freeze mixture in dish, stirring every 30 minutes until set.
