- 5 lemons, juiced
- 1/3 cup honey (or other vegan honey substitute)
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 4 cups water (or 2 cups water and 2 cups sparkling water)
- Fresh blueberries and fresh lemon slices, for garnish
- Ice (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add the juice of the 5 lemons to your blender, along with the honey, fresh blueberries, and one cup of the water (make sure you don’t add sparkling water to the blender).
- Blend Smoothly: Blend the mixture on high speed until it becomes smooth and well combined.
- Strain and Mix: Strain the blended mixture to remove pulp and seeds, then pour into a pitcher. Add the remaining water and stir thoroughly to mix.
- Garnish and Serve: Top off with ice if desired, add a few fresh blueberries and lemon slices for garnish, and optionally add sparkling water for a fizzy finish before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute honey with agave syrup or maple syrup to keep it vegan.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey according to taste.
- For a sparkling lemonade, add sparkling water only at the end to preserve the bubbles.
