Description

These Breakfast Sausage Crescent Rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make morning treat that combines flaky crescent dough with savory sausages, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese. Perfect for a quick breakfast or a make-ahead meal prep option.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the eggs: In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat, spray with cooking spray, and scramble the eggs until just set.
  3. Assemble the rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs onto the wide end of each triangle, top with a sausage link and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling.
  4. Bake: Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • These rolls are great for meal prep. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the toaster oven or microwave.
  • You can customize these rolls by adding cooked bacon or sautéed veggies for extra flavor.
