Lasagna:
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
Buffalo Chicken Mixture:
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup Buffalo wing sauce
Ricotta Mixture:
- 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Cheese Layers:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
Garnish:
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Prepare Chicken: In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken with Buffalo wing sauce.
- Prepare Ricotta Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Layering: Spread chicken mixture in dish, layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, chicken mixture, mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Repeat layers, top with cheese.
- Bake: Cover with foil, bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, bake additional 15-20 minutes until golden. Let rest before serving. Garnish with green onions.
Notes
- For a milder version, mix Buffalo sauce with ranch dressing.
- Rotisserie chicken can be used for convenience.
