Description
This Burrata Bruschetta recipe is a delightful appetizer featuring the creaminess of burrata cheese paired with marinated cherry tomatoes on crispy baguette slices. Perfect for a summer gathering or a quick snack.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Bruschetta:
- 1 baguette (sliced into ½-inch rounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
For the Topping:
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (plus more for drizzling)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 ball burrata cheese (about 4 oz)
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Toast in the oven for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Prepare the tomato topping: In a small bowl, toss the halved cherry tomatoes with minced garlic, 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
- Assemble the bruschetta: Tear the burrata into pieces. Top each toasted baguette slice with a spoonful of the marinated tomatoes, followed by a piece of burrata. Drizzle with additional balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Best served fresh while the toast is crisp and the burrata is creamy.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat or a smear of pesto for extra flavor.
