Pasta:

  • 12 ounces fettuccine or your favorite pasta

Chicken:

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Prepare the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning. Sear in a skillet with olive oil until cooked through; set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter. Add cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until thickened.
  4. Combine: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce. Add chicken back to the skillet and heat through.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
