Scale
Fudge Base
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant apple cider drink mix
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to allow easy removal of the fudge once set.
- Melt Chocolate and Milk: In a saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until the mixture is completely melted and smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
- Add Flavorings: Stir in the instant apple cider drink mix, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Continue to stir until the mixture is fully combined and has thickened slightly.
- Pour and Spread: Pour the fudge mixture evenly into the prepared pan, spreading it out smoothly with a spatula to create an even layer.
- Drizzle Caramel: Drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top of the fudge. Use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl the caramel into the fudge for a marbled effect.
- Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 3 hours or until it is firm and set.
- Cut and Serve: Once the fudge is firm, use the parchment paper overhang to lift it from the pan. Cut into approximately 25 small squares and serve or store.
Notes
- Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week to keep it fresh.
- For extra texture and flavor, sprinkle crushed dried apple chips or chopped pecans on top before chilling.
- Allow the fudge to come to room temperature for a few minutes before serving to enhance the creamy texture.
