Crispy Rice Layer:

  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Caramel Topping:

  • 1 bag (11 ounces) caramels (unwrapped)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crispy Rice Layer: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in the microwave, then stir in crispy rice cereal. Press mixture into the pan.
  2. Make the Caramel Topping: Melt caramels with heavy cream in the microwave until smooth. Pour over the cereal layer and spread evenly. Add chopped peanuts if desired.
