- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dough Preparation: In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and egg. Gradually mix in flour to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
- Rolling and Filling: Roll out dough, spread with softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Roll up, slice into rolls, place in a baking dish, and let rise.
- Baking: Preheat oven, bake rolls until golden brown.
- Caramel Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, add brown sugar, cream, and salt. Cook until thickened. Stir in vanilla.
- Serving: Pour warm caramel over baked rolls before serving.
