Description

Enjoy a guilt-free pizza night with this delicious Cauliflower Pizza Crust recipe. This low-carb and gluten-free alternative to traditional pizza crust is easy to make and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

Cauliflower Pizza Crust:

  • 1 medium head cauliflower (about 4 cups grated)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Your favorite pizza sauce and toppings for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Cauliflower: Wash and dry the cauliflower, then cut into florets and pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice. Microwave the riced cauliflower for 4-5 minutes until tender. Squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine cauliflower, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Form Crust: Transfer the mixture to the baking sheet and press into a 1/4-inch thick circle. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Add Toppings: Remove crust from oven, add sauce, cheese, and toppings. Return to oven for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. Serve: Slice and enjoy your cauliflower pizza!

Notes

  • Be sure to squeeze out excess moisture for a crisp crust.
  • For a crispier crust, bake on a pizza stone or flip halfway through baking.
  • This crust is naturally gluten-free and lower in carbs than traditional pizza dough.
