  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Butter a soufflé dish and dust with Parmesan.
  2. Make Roux: Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add warm milk.
