Tater Tots:
- 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
Cheeseburger Topping:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Additional Toppings:
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup dill pickles (chopped)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Bake Tater Tots: Spread the tater tots on a large baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion with garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned and cooked through.
- Assemble Totchos: Transfer the baked tater tots to a dish, top with the cooked beef, and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Add Toppings: Remove from the oven and top with tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, mustard, sour cream, and green onions. Serve hot.
