Pasta:
- 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow)
Beef Mixture:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Beef Mixture: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened. Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine: Reduce heat, stir in sour cream, add cooked pasta, and toss to combine.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the top. Cover and cook on low until melted, about 2–3 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
