- 1 pound ground beef

- 1/2 small onion, diced

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 6 large flour tortillas
- butter or cooking spray for greasing skillet
- optional: chopped cilantro, sour cream, salsa, or guacamole for serving
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, sauté onion, then add garlic and ground beef. Season with spices, add water, and simmer.
- Assemble the Quesadillas: Fill half of each tortilla with cheese and beef mixture. Fold in half.
- Cook the Quesadillas: Cook in a skillet until golden and cheese is melted. Slice and serve with toppings.

- You can use pre-cooked taco-seasoned beef to save time.
