Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Fold in chopped cherries.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract until well combined.
- Mix Batter: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir just until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Glaze: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Whisk together powdered sugar, cherry juice, and almond extract for the glaze. Drizzle over cooled bread.
