  • 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges as desired.
  2. Mix the Filling: In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, cornmeal, flour, and salt. Stir in the melted butter until well combined. Add the beaten eggs, milk, vinegar, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  3. Fill the Pie: Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  4. Bake: Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. If the crust edges brown too quickly, cover them with aluminum foil during the last 20 minutes of baking.
