- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
For the Stuffing:
- 1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Add cooked chicken and vegetables, if using. Spread into the baking dish.
- Make the Stuffing: In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix with chicken broth and melted butter until fluffy. Spoon over the chicken mixture.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Rest and Serve: Allow the casserole to rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
