- 8 ounces penne or rigatoni pasta
Chicken Sausages:

- 1 pound chicken sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds

- 1 medium zucchini, halved lengthwise and sliced
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Seasonings:
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Toppings:
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Sear Sausages: Brown sliced chicken sausage in olive oil.
- Add Vegetables: Cook zucchini, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and seasonings until tender.
- Combine: Toss in cooked pasta, Parmesan, and basil. Adjust seasoning.
