  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • pinch of salt

Add-Ins:

  • ¾ cup mini peanut butter cups, chopped
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter, slightly melted for swirling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ice Cream Base: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cream, milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Heat until warm, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and chill for at least 4 hours.
  2. Churn the Ice Cream: Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn following the manufacturer’s instructions. Add chopped peanut butter cups during the last few minutes.
  3. Swirl in Peanut Butter: Transfer half of the churned ice cream to a container, drizzle with half of the melted peanut butter, and swirl gently. Repeat with the remaining ice cream and peanut butter.
  4. Freeze: Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
