  • 2 large eggs
  • 1½ teaspoons peppermint extract

  • ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Add-Ins:

  • 1 cup peppermint M&M’s
  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the peppermint extract.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
