Description

These Christmas Tree Spinach Dip Breadsticks are a festive and delicious appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings. Creamy spinach dip is wrapped in flaky dough and baked until golden brown, then garnished to resemble a Christmas tree. Serve warm and watch them disappear!

Ingredients

Scale

Creamy Spinach Dip:

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For Assembly:

  • 2 cans refrigerated pizza dough or crescent dough sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or diced red bell pepper for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dip: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Assemble the tree: Unroll one dough sheet onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread the spinach dip in a triangle shape in the center. Top with the second dough sheet and trim into a tree shape. Cut and twist to form branches.
  4. Bake: Brush with egg wash and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter and garnish before serving warm.

Notes

  • Shortcut tip: Use store-bought spinach dip for convenience.
  • Extra cheesy option: Sprinkle additional cheese on top before baking for a cheesier crust.
