Description

Indulge in the festive spirit with these delightful Christmas White Chocolate-Dipped Sugar Wafers. Easy to make, these treats are perfect for holiday gatherings or as gifts for loved ones.

Ingredients

Scale

Sugar Wafers:

  • 1 (10 oz) package vanilla sugar wafer cookies

White Chocolate Coating:

  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Red and green holiday sprinkles or crushed peppermint candies (for decorating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Coating: Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
  2. Dip the Sugar Wafers: Dip each sugar wafer halfway into the melted white chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off. Immediately decorate with holiday sprinkles or crushed peppermint candies while the chocolate is still wet.
  3. Set the Wafers: Place the dipped wafers on the prepared baking sheet and allow them to set at room temperature for 30 minutes, or place them in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes to speed up the process.
  4. Storage: Once set, transfer to an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to one week.

Notes

  • For variety, use strawberry or chocolate sugar wafers and dip in dark or milk chocolate. These make great gifts wrapped in clear bags with festive ribbon.
