Ingredients
Scale
Fudge Base
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
Icing Swirl
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk or cream
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set it aside. This will help you easily lift the fudge out once set.
- Melt Fudge Ingredients: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and fully melted, ensuring no lumps remain.
- Add Flavorings: Stir in the light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, salt, and, if using, ground nutmeg. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes smooth, thick, and well combined.
- Pour into Pan: Transfer the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to smooth out the top evenly.
- Make Icing Swirl: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk or cream until a thick icing forms. Adjust the amount of liquid to reach desired consistency for drizzling.
- Decorate Fudge: Drizzle the icing over the fudge’s surface in a swirl pattern to mimic cinnamon rolls. Use a toothpick or knife to gently swirl the icing into the fudge creating a marbled effect.
- Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 3 hours, or until fully set and firm.
- Serve: Once chilled and firm, remove the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into 25 squares and serve.
Notes
- Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week to maintain freshness.
- For an extra festive touch, sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar over the top before refrigerating.
- If you prefer a nutmeg-free version, simply omit the nutmeg from the recipe.
- Allow the fudge to come to room temperature for a few minutes before serving for a softer texture.
