- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a muffin tin with liners or by greasing.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, sugars, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine mixtures: Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until just combined.
- Fill muffin cups: Divide batter evenly among the muffin cups.
- Make streusel topping: Combine brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Add topping: Sprinkle streusel over each muffin.
- Bake: Bake for 18–22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool: Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
