Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare Cobbler: Pour melted butter into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish. In a bowl, mix flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla. Pour batter over butter without stirring.
- Make Topping: Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over batter.
- Add Water: Slowly pour hot water over the cobbler without stirring.
- Bake: Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with vanilla ice cream.
