Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Combine warm milk and yeast. Add sugar, egg yolks, and butter. Mix in flour and salt to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth.
  2. Rise the Dough: Let the dough rise until doubled. Divide and fill each portion with cheese, then shape into logs.
  3. Bake the Ensaymada: Place the shaped dough in molds, let rise, then bake until golden. Brush with butter, sugar, and cheese.
