Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk (if needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking pans.
  2. Prepare dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars, add eggs, vanilla, mashed bananas, sour cream, and milk.
  4. Mix dry and wet: Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, fold in walnuts, and pour into pan.
  5. Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
