Instructions
- Rinse the rice: Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Cook the rice: In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, coconut milk, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Reduce to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Let it sit covered for an additional 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and garnish with shredded coconut.
