- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (as needed)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix the brownie batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, coffee, and mix. Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour into pan.
- Bake the brownies: Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
- Prepare the mocha frosting: Beat butter, coffee, cocoa, and vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar, mix until smooth. Add milk as needed.
- Frost the brownies: Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies. Slice and serve.
