These Cookie Monster Cookies are a fun and whimsical treat that kids and adults will love. With a delicious blend of chocolate chip cookies, mini Oreos, and candy eyeballs, these blue cookies are as adorable as they are tasty.

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • Blue gel food coloring (to desired shade)

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate chip cookies (such as Chips Ahoy)
  • 1/2 cup mini Oreos or crushed Oreos
  • Candy eyeballs for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and flavorings: Add the eggs one at a time, mix well, then stir in the vanilla extract and blue food coloring.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Stir in mix-ins: Fold in the mini chocolate chips, crushed cookies, and Oreos.
  6. Form and bake: Scoop portions of dough, roll into balls, place on baking sheet, press candy eyeballs on top, and bake for 10–12 minutes.
